Toyota’s dominance in searches extends to Africa, which Top Speed speculates is due to the brand’s affordable fare. Mercedes-Benz makes their mark in the northwest of the continent, however, and there’s a decent share of BMW fans present.

What was searched for heavily last September may not even make a blip this month. Additionally, Google searches don’t always have to do the desire to purchase a car, as “do Teslas explode” would add another bean to the same counter as “I love Tesla cars why can’t everyone just drive them.”
