On the YES Network’s current Forbes SportsMoney show, media expert John Mansell discussed the media rights deal between ESPN and the SEC that was announced earlier this month

The new deal begins in 2014 and is an extension of their current 2.25 billion, 15-year contract. Although financial terms have not been publicly revealed, Mansell explains why he believes the new deal will eventually be the most lucrative in college sports. Here is a list of the top college media deals.

Pac 12 12 ESPN/Fox $3 billion $ 250 million
Big Ten 12 Btn, CBN, ESPN, Fox $ 4 billion 248 million
